Hannah Underwood
Founder, How Might We Community
Hannah Underwood is a self confessed charity data geek and Founder of How Might We Community. She benefits from oodles of experience using data in purpose-driven and impactful organisations. She spent 16 years as the CEO of North East youth charity The Key, as well as serving as a Trustee and Non-Executive Director for various wonderful organisations.
When she's not trying to make the world a better place you might find Hannah chasing her three small (and often grubby) children, around various parts of Northumberland or being utterly terrified on stage as an amateur stand-up comedian.
Lucy Batley
Owner, Traction Industries
Lucy Batley’s tech experience spans 30 years designing for the digital world, her talent recognised at the outset of her career by winning EMAP’s Best Young Designer.
Lucy built a strong foundation at the dawn of the digital era to bring products to the then-burgeoning online marketplace, working with renowned brands and artists including Audi, MaxMara, Samsonite, Vespa, Fila Sport and The Manic Street Preachers. She also designed the digital interface to launch the Euro into the UK to Barclays Bank SME division.
Daniel Roe
Framework Architect, NUXT
Daniel Roe leads the NUXT core team - previously CTO of a SaaS startup and founder of a creative agency focusing on clarity of vision and message. His open-source work has a focus in the TypeScript and Vue ecosystems and he's involved in consultancy with companies around the world, particularly around JAMstack, serverless and software architecture.
Daniel's based in Scotland where he lives with his family and cat.
Peter Grainger
Technical Account Manager, AWS
Peter Grainger is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with over 15 years of experience specialising in application security.
Currently serving as a Technical Account Manager at Amazon Web Services, Peter helps a wide range of customers build secure, scalable applications. His expertise spans across secure software development, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.
When he’s not securing applications, Peter mentors the next generation of cybersecurity professionals and speaks about the importance of building security into the foundation of software development.
Peter Shaw (Shawty)
Owner, Digital Solutions UK
Shawty is an early adopter of all forms of I.T & Electronics, started dismantling and program things from a young age, always been a “tinkerer”, proud to very much be a “Maker” who in the course of his career so far has worked on some very prominent projects, some of which you use every day without even realising.
Shawty has run his own technology consultancy for 12+ years now in the semi-rural corner of North Durham known as Consett, if you ask him what his job is, he’ll simply tell you: “I’m a technologist, and proud of it”, there’s not an awful lot he can’t fix.
His skill set covers Software development in multiple languages, Web Design & Development, Data Centre management & construction, Database Administration on multiple platforms, Web Server management including IIS, Nginx & IIS.
Lyndon Longhorne
Paralympic Finalist
Lyndon Longhorne is a Paralympic athlete with over 12 years of experience in para-swimming. Having faced challenges ranging from injuries to illnesses and narrowly missing out on two Paralympic Games, Lyndon’s journey is a powerful example of resilience, determination, and an unshakable mindset.
In 2021, Lyndon fulfilled his dream of becoming a Paralympian, achieving success as both a Paralympic and World Championship finalist. Alongside breaking 13 British records and ranking in the top 10 globally, he was honored as an Olympic torchbearer in 2012.
Lyndon’s passion extends beyond sports, embracing technology’s transformative role in achieving goals and solving challenges. Whether through adaptive technology in sports or tools for personal and professional growth, Lyndon champions tech as a catalyst for ambition and innovation.
